The first term of school wraps up this week and if you're looking for things to do with the kids during the holidays, we've got the app for you.
It's a web-based app called 'NZ Playground Explorer', and it maps more than 3500 playgrounds across New Zealand.
A great feature of the map is that it's filterable, so if you want to look for a playgrounds with flying foxes or make sure there's enough shade, you can find all that info before you leave the house.
It's a joint venture between Lottery Health, Cancer Society of New Zealand, and the University of Otago, and was created by Dr Bronwen McNoe from the Department of Preventive and Social Medicine.
