Last month was the six-year anniversary of the horrific attacks on two mosques in Ōtautahi Christchurch, when fifty one lives were taken during Friday prayers.
That number became significant for Bariz Shah and Saba Afrasyabi, an Afghan-Kiwi couple who were praying in a nearby mosque that day.
In the aftermath they connected with families of victims and helped with burials but wanted to turn the tragedy into something positive.
So, they embarked on the enormous undertaking of establishing 51 microbusinesses in Afghanistan.
What's more, they made a documentary to tell the story, which will be in theatres across the country from tomorrow.
