A Nelson College for Girls student wants to start a conversation about how and why the over-sexualisation of teenage girls occurs. And she's doing it by talking about long socks.
17-year-old Madi Fulton Buckle says it all came about after a teacher made a passing comment that over-the-knee socks were "creepy porn-video looking".
So she has made a documentary called The Sexualisation of Socks using humour to hopefully make people think about issues rape culture and the objectification of women.
