Comedian Trexx and influencer Torell Tafa embark on an epic challenge in new video series The All Goods Race which sees the duo race each other to the other end of the North Island, from different directions.

Torrell is a digital content powerhouse with over 450,000 followers across platforms. Known for his humour and relatability, he connects deeply with audiences. Formerly of the Cougar Boys, Torrell has amassed over 47 million YouTube views.

Trexx is a beloved Māori comedian with 350,000+ followers. His witty, cultural humour resonates across New Zealand. Trexx’s charm earned him accolades as one of the funniest creators at the 2021 NZ International Comedy Festival.

Starting in the other's home cities, they race to beat the other to their own hometown—Auckland to Wellington for Trexx, and vice versa for Torrell—they must rely solely on the kindness of fellow Kiwis to reach their destination. With no money and minimal resources, they navigate challenges, interact with locals and complete checkpoint tasks in te reo Māori across eight episodes.

Creator and Producer Joe Daymond said: "This series highlights the best of who we are as Kiwis—resilient, kind, and hilarious."

RNZ’s Commissioning Manager Tim Burnell said The All Goods Race is a great example of content made for young New Zealanders by their own community.

“Joe and the team have made something that’s incredibly engaging and funny and we’re excited to host it on RNZ Video.”

Produced by West Park with support from Te Māngai Pāho and NZ On Air, all episodes of The All Goods Race release on rnz.co.nz/video today.
