Dawn Raids petition handed to Parliament

From Pacific Waves

The formal government apology for the Dawn Raids has been postponed, but that hasn't stopped the handing of the petition taking place.

Before New Zealand's Government had even announced they'd apologise, a petition was signed by over seven thousand people.

In a show of Māori solidarity with Pasifika, Te Pāti Māori co-leader Debbie Ngarewa-Packer received the petition on behalf of Parliament.

Mariner Fagaiava-Muller was there.
