The Ministry for Pacific Peoples has seen massive cuts in New Zealand's latest budget, New Guinea Island is home to one of the world's most important remaing stands of tropical rainforest, A Pacific community leader says while many elderly Samoan individuals have been granted NZ citizenship, they are being turned down by work and income services, and one third of the world's volcanic gases come from the volcanoes of Melanesia, however, most of these gases have never been measured.
