A huge casino development in the Northern Marianas is seeking an extension on a government deadline for it to complete the facility on Saipan.

Imperial Pacific International is required to finish the building next month but it wants an extension until December.
It said it had been delayed by a lack of manpower and other problems.
The Hong Kong-based company's new contractor, Pacific Rim Contractors, is currently focusing on completing three areas of the project - the hotel, its tower and the exterior of the hotel lobby.
