The lawyer representing the Manus Island refugee who escaped to Fiji says police in Papua New Guinea were unreasonable not to grant him bail.

Loghman Sawari was deported back to Port Moresby in February and charged with using false information to obtain a passport.
The district court threw out the charge on Tuesday, but not before the 21-year-old from Iran was re-arrested on similar charges.
The police refused to grant him bail following the second arrest.
After a week in custody, Mr Sawari was released last Thursday when a bail application was granted by the National Court.
His lawyer, Loani Henao said the police denied him his constitutional right to bail.
"I think police were very unreasonable in refusing him bail. He did not breach any of his earlier bail conditions."
Mr Henao said the second trial of Loghman Sawari would start on 1 May.
