Victor Waters

What I cover: I report on infrastructure issues in Auckland but can pivot on a range of topics from health to technology and sport. I'm passionate about shining a light on issues that impact us and giving New Zealanders, of all walks of life, a voice.

My background: I've been a journalist for a decade, spending the majority of that time as a TV sports reporter. I've covered a number of major events including the 2024 Paralympics, 2022 Commonwealth Games and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. I'm fluent in Spanish and Portuguese and have been learning te reo Māori.
