What I cover

I cover stories relating to councils in the Hutt Valley, Porirua, Wellington City and the Greater Wellington Regional Council. I also have strong interests in infrastructure and transport, particularly public transport, roads and the Cook Strait ferries. I also have done coverage about pests and their particular impact in the Wellington region. 

My Background

I began studying journalism at the New Zealand Broadcasting School in Christchurch in 2019. I completed my degree specialising in journalism in 2021 and started working for Newstalk ZB in its Wellington office that year. I was in that job till November 2023, when I moved to RNZ's Wellington news team.
