Linda Hall

What I cover: I cover the five councils in Hawke's Bay, Hastings District, Napier City, Wairoa District, Central Hawke's Bay District and HB regional. My goal is to inform and help the public understand council business. As well as reporting on council meetings, I love to write about how council decisions affect people in our community. People can contact me about anything council related from rates to berms.

My background: I started as the Hawke's Bay Local Democracy Reporter in September 2024. I have worked in the media industry for more than 30 years starting at the Dannevirke Evening News. My roles have included production editor, sub editor and assistant editor.
